I have the following major idea for next round changes. Please let me know what you think of this idea:
- Rock, paper, scissors system.
Instead of every unit dealing damage to each and every other unit, each unit will now be specialized, demanding a more intelligent strategy instead of an all-out attack strategy.
Example: Light infantry damages heavy units, but deals no damage to medium units. Medium units damages light units, but no damage to heavy units. And so on.

good idea to put more emphasis on strategic factors. although i dont like the rock scissors paper system that much. little control, too much based on luck.
how about damage sucked up by weaker units. like medusas will be destroyed first, then lights, shadows, goliaths, hellspawns and ares last.
besides that....any idea when you'll start next round?

I plan to do a reset on Friday this week.
Game Creator. Admin. And everything else, since year 2000.

long time no see people! i havent played Earthdoom for about 3-4 years now! i used to go by the name of No Mercy or Morpheus, anyone remember me?
well to be honest killah, i think you need to step this game up a bit! do some serious changes, such as, another squad perhaps? but ill have a think as what other suggestions i can think of!
i aint advertising on here killah, but the reason i left earthdoom some years ago was to make my own game! so i had to sit down and learn php html and sql
but i have been successfull!
i started off with this same script as you have, but iv taken it to completely the next level! iv finished my game and i am launching it any day now! its a Text based stratedgy game like this, but the only thing thats controlled by ticks is the money dealt out! your a Criminal and have to build your character up and basically dominate!
im willing to help you with Earthdoom killah if you want the help? im full of good ideas and i think if you put some time into this you will make this game alot more enjoyable to play! you have a great gang of people playing as i recognise all the top 20 players which used to play when i did!
im here if you need me, killah, take a look at my game and see what you think! iv coded it completely from scratch! i wont put the web address on here as i dont believe in spamming, so ill wait for you to PM or Email me over this forum, and i look forward to recieving your reply!
